| This was the painting that was done LIVE during the Casting Crowns concert in Glendale, AZ. For those of you who are familiar with the band, this piece was done during their performance of "The Voice of Truth" I DID NOT do the painting, however I took the picture of the painting... This was painted by hands and it took (an estimated time of) 4-8 minutes, it took the guy 2 songs to finish it. It says (L-R) Faith, The Voice of Truth, Trust, and then glory, strength, and then Do not be Afraid, Perseverance, Do not Fear |
So it's that time of the year again
I'm going fishing tomorrow with the boys from that I'm teaching...along with the boys (and other teachers) from the cental valley Assemblies of God churches...
So, I'm hoping to get lucky this time and actually catch something (for a start)
There are prizes to be given away for someone who catch the most fish, and as well as the "heaviest" catch.
$25 dollar walmart gift card prize ain't bad - not bad at all..
Well, I'm off to buy some snacks (for me and my kids) and some bait (for me).
Here's hoping luck's on my side tomorrow
//EDIT//
Well, I didn't catch anything (again), BUT this time I came close! I had one fish that got away!
So why am I happy about it? Last year, I didn't even catch anything!!! So I would say that's one step forward into the right direction...
Aside from that, I got stuck babysitting my boys - they spent most of their time arguing rather than fishing. Someone's pole broke and he kept on bugging and taking away his brother's pole, then there's the story of the trip home...
To make it short, our trip back home wasn't a very pleasant one - instead of them watching a (DVD) movie, they didn't do anything.
